WHITELADY'S BOOK OF COMFORT
Celtic Prayer is a living tradition. 

      These prayers did not cease to be prayed when the language which gave birth to them fell out of international recognition.. They have never lost their distinctive flavour and style. 

      Some of those on these pages were collected from folk who had them handed down through their families, some have long been written down in english, and thus preserved.

      Here is a prayer written in this decade. Not only is it firmly within the tradition, it is one of the most beautiful and complete examples of this tradition that I have ever seen.
