This award can in no way give an inkling of how much pleasure, security and love I feel from Sanctuary, but it is a tiny token of my thanks.

AWARDS

Awards are incredibly stimulating. Or so I have discovered. There are times when a webmaster wonders if anyone sees, if their work makes any difference at all - just like anyone else.  Every so often I look at the guest book. That picks me up and encourages me a great deal. Every award that sanctuary has been given has, in some way given new life to the site. New enthusiasm for cleaning up pages and links. Great joy, business and inspiration.  People who give awards, give a great deal of themselves. Time and energy among other things. Sometimes, good advice. Always, they give new life.  The least I can do as web weaver of sanctuary, is to give them a place of their own, a link, so you can visit and see their own work, and a great big

The MERIT award recognizes effort and the work that goes into developing a Web site. The site must also show some great potential. Work is usually required to achieve that potential properly. Often given to sites which fall down in a really major way in one area -- navigation for instance...... :)
